Kenny Chesney’s ‘The Boys Of Fall’ – Football Season Is Almost Here…

The Boys Of Fall is the first single from Kenny’s upcoming album called Hemingway’s Whiskey due out on September 28, 2010. This one has number one written all over it. It’s already at #17 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Fall is just around the corner, and in the South, that means one thing: SEC football! I’m ready. Enjoy!

Want To Get To Know Thompson Square A Little Better? Here You Go…

The first time I heard Thompson Square’s Let’s Fight, I had no idea who they were, but I knew I loved the song. I still do. Shawna’s strong voice and Keifer’s scruffy voice compliment each other perfectly, and since they’re also married, they obviously compliment each other in other ways as well. If you’re not that familiar with them, here’s a great little segment from Country Weekly called Married to the Music featuring Thompson Square. This is episode one: The First Date. Enjoy!

P.S. Just in case you haven’t seen the video for Let’s Fight, I’ve featured it below.

P.S.S. In case I forget to feature the other five episodes of Married to the Music featuring Thompson Square, you can check them out on this page on CountryWeekly.com over the next couple of months.

Take A Quick Behind-The-Scenes Look At The Filming Of James Otto’s Video For ‘Groovy Little Summer Song’

Groovy Little Summer Song is still climbing the country charts, but it’s already James’ second highest charting single of his career. Currently, it’s sitting at #28 on the Billboard Hot Country charts, but I hope and believe it’s going to be his second top ten hit. His other top ten hit was his 2008 number one hit Just Got Started Lovin’ You.

Below is a quick little behind-the-scenes video about James’ latest single, and if you haven’t seen the full video for the song yet, you can check it out here. Enjoy, and if you like this song, be sure to call your local radio stations and request it. Let’s help Mr. Otto score another number one hit!

Happy Birthday To Allison Krauss – Enjoy Three Of Her Biggest Hits

As talented as Allison Krauss is, it’s amazing to me that she only has one solo top 30 hit on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Back in 1995, she took When You Say Nothing At All all the way to number three on the country charts. She does have a number one country single to her credit though.

In 2000, she joined Kenny Rogers and Billy Dean for Kenny’s number single Buy Me A Rose, and in 2004, she teamed up with Brad Paisley for another number three country hit for Whiskey Lullaby, which to this day is one of the saddest music videos I’ve ever seen.

Even though she hasn’t had tremendous success on the charts, Allison is considered one of the most talented artists out there within the industry. Enjoy Allison’s biggest hits and join us in wishing her a Happy Birthday!

Shania Twain’s Message To Single Men Everywhere Went To #1 Today In 1995

On this day back in 1995, Shania’s Any Man Of Mine moved into the number one slot on the Billboard Hot Country charts. It was the second of six number one singles in a row for Shania. Her marital union with Mutt Lange might not have lasted forever, but I’ll say this for Mutt. He knows how to pick chart-topping albums.

For those who don’t know, in addition to Shania’s number one albums, Mutt was also the man behind AC/DC’s Back in Black, Foreigner’s 4, and Def Leppard’s Pyromania and Hysteria. And, that’s just a few of the albums he’s produced. The man may be a recluse, but he definitely knows how to produce an album that’ll sell… Enjoy this flashback to a little 90′s pop country from Shania.

Check Out Chris Young’s New Video For His Latest Single ‘Voices’

The first time I heard this song, I liked it and knew it would be a single. What I like about the video is we finally get to see what Chris looks like with a little bit of hair on his head. To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what he looked like without a hat on. If this one doesn’t become Chris’ third number one single in a row, I’ll be a little surprised. Enjoy!

Jimmy Wayne Fan Signs Onstage While Jimmy Sings ‘Do You Believe Me Now’

This is very cool. From reading the comments that accompanied this video, I believe the girl signing was actually sitting on the third row signing while Jimmy was singing, and he asked her to come up on stage and sign a song with him.

She is not hard-of-hearing herself, but had been taking sign lessons for a few months at the time. She did an awesome job and didn’t appear to be very nervous at all. Obviously, it was a very cool experience for her, and a very gracious and cool thing for Jimmy to do. Enjoy!

P.S. If anyone knows who the young lady is in the video, let us know. I believe it’s @KeroseneKid on Twitter, but I’m not quite sure. Is that you Samantha?
