Brantley Gilbert’s latest single is called My Kind Of Crazy. This is the kind of song that radio stations love to play… if it was being requested/promoted to them. Wow! Think about that statement. Reba’s Turn on the Radio just became her 60th top ten hit on the Billboard Hot Country charts this week. According to my calculations*, she has 58 solo top ten hits and two guest single top tens (1986′s Mind Your Own Business w/Hank Williams, Jr., Reverend Ike, Willie Nelson, and Tom Petty and 2008′s Cowgirls Don’t Cry with Brooks & Dunn).
That’s a remarkable achievement from a remarkable woman. Congratulations Reba!
Josh Kelley is an interesting guy. He’s married to actress Katherine Heigl. His younger brother is Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley. He’s been actively recording music since 2001, but it wasn’t until this year that he made the switch to country music, and according to an article on CMT.com, “Josh Kelley has signed a record deal with a Nashville major label for his first country album, and he says he expects to spend the rest of his career in country music.”
