Shooter Jennings has stirred up a lot of debate about today’s new country singers with his new song and video for Outlaw You. In case you haven’t heard it yet, it’s the second video below. The first video is a clip of a young Waylon Jennings performing Nashville Rebel for the 1966 movie Nashville Rebel. I thought it was an appropriate video to accompany Shooter’s. I love finding new music, and this song from Raintown is definitely a great find. I wasn’t familiar with them until I noticed this video on a Facebook friend’s wall. According to their website www.RainTownMusic.com, they’re “the first ever Scottish act invited to perform at the prestigious CMA Global Artist Party at CMA Fest 2011 in Nashville.”
