For the week of September 18th, Billy Currington’s Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer moved up one spot to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts. This is Billy’s fifth overall number one single and third in a row! I was curious how Billy’s number one singles total stood up against some of the other male country artists of today, and Billy’s record is pretty darn impressive. Here’s a look at some of today’s top country stars and their number one single totals:

Number One Singles on the Billboard Hot Country charts:

George Strait – 44
Alan Jackson – 25
Tim McGraw – 23
Toby Keith – 19
Kenny Chesney – 17
Brad Paisley – 15
Keith Urban – 11
Blake Shelton – 7
Billy Currington – 5
Rodney Atkins – 5
Trace Adkins – 4
Jason Aldean – 4
Gary Allan – 3
Josh Turner – 3
Darius Rucker – 3
Joe Nichols – 3
Chris Young – 2
Phil Vassar – 2
Craig Morgan – 1
Jimmy Wayne – 1
