Miranda Lambert And Blake Shelton Talk About Writing Miranda’s New Single That Honor’s Blake’s Brother

The first time I listened to Miranda Lambert’s new album Four The Record, Over You was by far my favorite song on the album. It’s a powerful song that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert wrote together to honor Blake’s older brother Richie who died in a car wreck when Blake was a teenager. In this video from the AP, Blake and Miranda talk about how emotional it was for them to write the song together.

P.S. The second video features Over You in it’s entirety. If you haven’t picked up or downloaded Miranda’s Four the Record, please do so now. It is truly amazing!

Drink On It is the third single from Blake Shelton’s Red River Blue album. It was written by Jon Randall, Jessi Alexander and Rodney Clawson. The video below from our friends at TheBoot.com is a little different to say the least. It was filmed at Nashville’s Tin Roof bar and restaurant. Give it a look and listen and let us know what you think.
