Jimmy Buffett and Bret Michaels Performing ‘Margaritaville’ (Live) in Detroit

While browsing YouTube this morning looking for a different Buffett video, I stumbled across this video of Buffett and Bret Michaels onstage performing Margaritaville live in Detroit last year. I’m a big fan of both Jimmy Buffett and Poison, so I enjoyed it. If you’re a fan of the two as well, then you’ll probably enjoy it too.

Zac Brown Band’s ‘Knee Deep’ Featuring Jimmy Buffett Is The New #1 Song In Country Music

For the week of August 13, 2011, Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Buffett’s Knee Deep knocked Jason Aldean’s Dirt Road Anthem out of the top spot on the Billboard Hot Country charts.  This is their sixth number one single in a row on the Billboard Hot Country charts, and their seventh overall on the Billboard charts. Actually, all eight of their singles have went to number one because Whatever It Is peaked at #2 on the Billboard charts, but went to number one on the Mediabase charts. I’m so proud of Zac and the boys.

Is It Five O’Clock Somewhere? It Was On This Day Back In 2003

Back on this day in 2003, Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson’s massive hit, It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere, moved up to the number one spot on the Billboard Hot Country charts. The song spent eight non-consecutive weeks atop the charts. It’s also Jimmy Buffett’s only number one country hit.

The video was filmed in two different locations. The Jimmy Buffett in concert portion was filmed at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, IN, and the Tiki bar scene was filmed at the Square Grouper in Jupiter, Florida. Finally, the boat that Alan is cruising around in is his personal boat, the Hullbilly. Enjoy!

Jimmy Buffett Free Concert In Gulf Shores Rescheduled For July 11, 2010

CMT.com is reporting that Jimmy Buffett’s free concert in Gulf Shores that was originally scheduled for July 1st has been rescheduled for July 11th due to the possibility of inclement weather in the area on the 1st. While there’s nothing we can do about the weather, I do feel sorry for all the people who rented condos and houses for the week just to see the concert. Here’s the details from CMT.com. Meanwhile, enjoy this look at Buffett covering CSN’s Southern Cross. Enjoy!
