Please take a moment to read this message from Jimmy Wayne. It’s from TheComet.com:

Country singer/songwriter Jimmy Wayne recounts his journey trekking across America to raise awareness for homeless youth and his charity Project Meet Me Halfway.

A foster child himself, Wayne speaks from his heart about miracles and giving back. His story is the story of countless teens searching for a home, food, a kind word, and a chance at life. His blog is one of the reasons why we started The Comet – a chance for artists to speak directly to fans about what matters most to them.

Jimmy Wayne Gets A Cool Surprise At The Nashville Airport

Jimmy Wayne’s Meet Me Halfway walk has come full circle. He left Nashville for Phoenix back on January 1, 2010, and he arrived back in Nashville yesterday after completing his journey on Sunday.

Jimmy was only expecting to see his drummer at the airport, but instead, he was met by about 60 people. What made it even more special for Jimmy was a lot of the people greeting him were foster youths. You can read all about this cool little surprise for Jimmy at Tennessean.com.
