Video Tribute: Dear Johnny – In Memory Of John Denver 15 Years Later

John Denver – 1943 – 1997

Fifteen years ago on October 12, 1997, John Denver was killed in a freak plane crash right off the coast of California at Pacific Grove. It was a huge blow to Denver fans worldwide as John was only 53 years old. This video was put together as a tribute to John five years ago, and I think it’s a great way to celebrate the life of an American music icon. We miss you John. And, below the tribute is one of my favorite videos of John Denver performing Rocky Mountain High. Enjoy the tribute.
