Reba McEntire’s ‘Turn On The Radio’ Becomes Her 60th Country Top Ten Hit

Wow! Think about that statement. Reba’s Turn on the Radio just became her 60th top ten hit on the Billboard Hot Country charts this week. According to my calculations*, she has 58 solo top ten hits and two guest single top tens (1986′s Mind Your Own Business w/Hank Williams, Jr., Reverend Ike, Willie Nelson, and Tom Petty and 2008′s Cowgirls Don’t Cry with Brooks & Dunn).

That’s a remarkable achievement from a remarkable woman. Congratulations Reba!

If Reba McEntire Hits Number One On The Country Charts, She’ll Tie Dolly At The Top

If Reba’s new single Turn on the Radio hits number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts, it will be her 25th number one single on the Billboard Hot Country charts, which will tie Dolly Parton as the most ever by a female country singer. Dolly’s last number one was When I Get Where I’m Going, her duet with Brad Paisley from 2006. Reba’s last number one was earlier this year when she hit number one with Consider Me Gone.

Let’s help Reba make history. If you like Turn On The Radio, call up your local radio station and request it. If you haven’t seen the video for the song yet, here you go. Enjoy!

Go Behind-The-Scenes With Reba McEntire During The Video Shoot For ‘Turn On The Radio’

This is one of the best behind-the-scenes videos I’ve ever seen of the shooting of a music video. It’s for Reba McEntire’s latest single Turn On The Radio, and Reba takes us behind-the-scenes in the extremely hot warehouse where the video was shot. You also get to see Reba and crew head down to the basement when a tornado warning goes off during the middle of the shoot.

Reba looks fantastic in all black, and I’m sure the video’s gonna be great. Enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at a country legend in action!

Look Out Taylor Swift – Reba McEntire Posted Her First TwitVid Today!

Look at Reba. Maybe she wants to knock Taylor off the top of the social media world… She just learned how to post a video on TwitVid, and it’s pretty cute to watch her. It reminds me a little of the first time I used Skype – Pretty cool, but pretty awkward as well. Again, this is why I love the internet. Where else can you see Reba sitting at home just being Reba. Gotta love her!

On This Day In 2001, Reba McEntire Ruled New York City!

Remember Reba as Annie Oakley in Broadway’s Annie Get Your Gun? Reba’s five-month stint on Broadway as Annie came to a close on this day back in 2001, and the city of New York celebrated Reba McEntire Day. At least for one day, Reba ruled New York City! That’s pretty cool.

At the press conference it was announced that McEntire would make her Broadway debut by taking over the role of Annie Oakley in the musical, 'Annie Get Your Gun'.
