Reba McEntire Struck Gold For The First Time On This Day In 1987

On January 23, 1987, Reba McEntire’s Whoever’s In New England was certified gold. It was Reba’s first gold and platinum album, first #1 album on the Billboard Country charts and it produced two number one country hits for Whoever’s In New England and Little Rock.

To honor this achievement, here’s a look at her official music video for Whoever’s In New England, which happened to be her first official music video as well. Enjoy!

Today Is The Day Reba McEntire’s ‘Reba’ Debuted On TV Back In 2001

Reba’s sitcom was delayed a couple of times due to the September 11th attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon, but it officially debuted on the WB Network on this day back in 2001. Many of you, like me, still watch it in syndication today. Enjoy a look back at the Pilot episode in it’s entirety!
