Well, she’s done it again… Taylor Swift’s single ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ has regained the top spot on the Billboard Hot Country charts after spending a few weeks at number two behind Florida Georgia Line’s ‘Cruise’. It spent nine weeks in a row atop the Billboard Country charts at the end of 2012, which broke Connie Smith’s single ‘Once A Day’ for most consecutive weeks at #1 for a solo female country artist.

On the country airplay charts, Zac Brown Band’s ‘Goodbye In Her Eyes’ moved up to number one. This is their 9th number one single. Conversely, it dropped from #6 to #10 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. And, Taylor Swift’s ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ isn’t even in the top 30 on the Country Airplay charts.

Honestly, with the changes Billboard made last year to how it ranks country songs, I doubt if Taylor Swift will ever drop out of the top five with any song all year. What are your thoughts on the new Billboard Hot Country charts methodology?
Just in case you haven’t checked them out yet, watch Taylor’s video for ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ here and Zac Brown Band’s ‘Goodbye In Her Eyes’ here. Enjoy!
