It was exactly two years ago today that Zac Brown Band and the great Jimmy Buffett taped an installment of CMT Crossroads at The Factory in Franklin, Tennessee. This is definitely one of my favorite episodes of CMT Crossroads. I love Zac Brown Band, and I’ve been a fan of Jimmy Buffett’s for over 25 years. Enjoy a look back at this great pairing!

Zac Brown Band’s ‘Knee Deep’ Featuring Jimmy Buffett Is The New #1 Song In Country Music

For the week of August 13, 2011, Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Buffett’s Knee Deep knocked Jason Aldean’s Dirt Road Anthem out of the top spot on the Billboard Hot Country charts. This is their sixth number one single in a row on the Billboard Hot Country charts, and their seventh overall on the Billboard charts. Actually, all eight of their singles have went to number one because Whatever It Is peaked at #2 on the Billboard charts, but went to number one on the Mediabase charts. I’m so proud of Zac and the boys.

Zac Brown Band Made History During This Week Last Year
